Pitch to flat roof transition.
Most people view pitching a flat roof as a tedious job.
We see this quite frequently in log home roofs with porches for example.
This is a fairly common roof detail.
Now we re going to look at something that does happen quite often.
Measure 1 1 2 from bottom edge of transition flashing.
The flat roof already has a slight pitch as it is required by law.

After bottom roofing panels have been installed set one piece of transition flashing down where the top portion non hemmed of the transition flashing lies flat on the upper roof 3.

The starter strip and first row of shingles must be applied 25 cm from the bottom of the slope roof or main roof above the slope transition.
